This THOR: RAGNAROK Funko Pop May Have Given Away A MASSIVE SPOILER About The Movie

Marvel recently revealed Surtur's appearance in Thor: Ragnarok via a Funko Pop figure but taking a closer look at another one of those, we may have figured out a pretty major plot point! Check it out...

We recently got a look at Funko's full range of Pop Vinyls for Thor: Ragnarok and among them was the first look at Surtur. It's interesting that his appearance has been revealed this way but taking a closer look at the rest of the range, we've noticed something a lot of people failed to pick up on in that first rather small shot of the collectable toys. What's that in the God of Thunder's hand? Surtur's head!

While common sense says that Thor will defeat the fiery villain, it appears as if we can also expect him to decapitate his foe! Most fans previously assumed that he was holding his own helmet but that's clearly Surtur's head and may even reveal just how large the character is. If Thor can hold his head after defeating him, chances are Surtur is probably human sized or slightly larger and not a giant.

That would also explain why Surtur isn't a giant-sized 6" Pop! What do you guys think of this possible plot detail? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts on that in the comments section below.

I'm fairly certain (after a user pointed it out to me) that it's not Sutur's head, but one of his minions. The pic below shows it chained to his back.

Didn't they say Surtur is 3 times bigger than balrog from LOTR? He's a fire giant.

@Conutandream -

Surtur is large enough for the Hulk to have to jump up to him, so yeah, this wont be Surtur.

Surtur is going to end up being massive.

I guess what will happen is that Thor will be trapped, see a ton of tiny minion fire demons then we'll be introduced to something about the size of the stone monster in Thor 2.

Then Thor will defeat it and ask 'who is next' and then we'll get the Surtur reveal as this massive fire demon - then Hulk will arrive to help.

@Scarilian - That "stone monster" has a name, you insensitive prick!

Well, perhaps not...but he's a Kronan, not a monster.

Given the dome of the head, i would not be too suprised if its from one of Surtur's minions instead.
