This is another edition of Comicgame, courtesy of me at the Throne. Today, the God of Thunder takes a swing at gaming.

Developer: Almost any developer with experience in lighting and third person view

Genre: Third person action

Concept: And adaptation of the movie with periods of detachment from the main story to concentrate on other Thor villains. The game should be massive and allow for all your powers from the start. This allows you to feel like a god all the time, but as the game progresses the villains get harder to beat.

Multiplayer: A "Horde" mode where you and buddies fight off waves of enemies. Also team vs. team mode would be nice.

Voice Cast: Movie Cast

Nothing much here, but next up is.... Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Do's and Don't's

Awesome Stuff Dude!
On the Horde mode,IF it would be online, you cant play as Thor,W3,Balder,Sif,etc,etc.You should be able to Make your own Asgardian. You should be able to choose a "Class" such as Warrior,Archer,Assassin,Brute,or Elemental. But if your not playing online, you should(like MUA2).On the Campaign,You should be able to roam on a large but not entirely open land.

I'd like to be able to go back and forth between Asgard, Earth, and Hell. Missions on each level. Asgard could be as a sphere that envelops our universe, the earth a sphere that encases hell. Like concentric spheres. When Thor travels to earth from Asgard it is like he moves through "Space" before he gets to earth.

This game could be a tough nut to crack. How do you give someone the power of a god and still make things challenging? This is especially difficult in Thor's case because he's been so badly written, and so over-written over the years. He's been described as having literally unlimited strength, which makes coming up with a reasonable challenge for him difficult. I'm not going to say that you can't make a game out of this, but I'm not sure what it would be. There would be no way to stick to the source material and still ahve a fun game. You'd have to deviate from the source enough that Thor can feel threatned by other beings, and that the player can be threatened by 'thug' level minions on occassion. That's not much like the Thor of the comic world.
