@PeenWeinersteen - They were the weak link of the original avengers's franchises

@dracula - Ragnarok was fun, and I enjoyed parts of the first Thor. But yeah they never reached the ethereal epicness of Simonson or Stracynski's runs.

Balder could easily be brought into Thor’s corner of the MCU. Thor is 1500+ years old. Balder could have been Thor’s best friend from his youth. A brave warrior that was his equal. Maybe he was thought to have been killed and lost in a long ago battle? But he returns (perhaps in the role Sif played to help introduce Beta Ray Bill).

@deepee3 - if Thor 4 does happen (here's to hoping) he could be brought into the mix here, i dont see why not... could easily be explained he was off doing other things on other planets, kind of like CM explaining herself to the Avengers in Endgame

@deepee3 - Best friend? Please. Baldr is the legitimate heir of the throne of Asgard, and only one capable of replace Odin as the ruler of Asgard.
Thor is an illegitimate child.

Shame Marvel hasn't utilised him. Guess there's still time, though.

I think Balder is maybe the character from the Thor mythos I wanted to see on the big screen. Just go mad and might as well cast the other Hemsworth brother

There's always time for this seeing as there's going to be more Thor in the MCU.

I would’ve loved Balder and Karnilla. It would’ve been cool to see more of Tyr too.

I love the thor comics and the MCU but i also admit the thor movie series never really reached its full potential, which saddens me.
