Though not perfect, the first Transformers movie was thoroughly entertaining. It had an actual story, clear motivations, and characters (for the most part) that made sense. Since its release, there have been four sequels, each failing to live up to the potential. Each of the four sequels have tried and (gracefully) failed to bring something new to the series, only to dissolve into generic action shlock. The only one that ever got close to capturing the spirit of that first film was Dark of The Moon, and even that one was riddled with flaws.
So here we are with Transformers: The Last Knight, a film so bad, so incoherent, that it'll make you wish you brought Aspirin with you to the theater. Clocking in at 148 minutes, this is not the longest film in the franchise, but boy it feels like it is. Filled with an incoherent story (and I mean that, this film is impossible to follow), hollow characters even by Transformers standards, horribly unfunny jokes and boring action, this may just be the worst in the franchise.
