Claudia Doumit, who portrayed Congresswoman Victoria Neuman in season 2 of The Boys will become a series regular. Fans of the show know that Neuman and the mystery surrounding her explosive secret will likely become the focal point of season 3. Prior to The Boys, Doumit was best known for portraying Jiya in NBC's Timeless and voicing Farah Karim in Activision's Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare.
Since the show's debut, Colby Minifie has portrayed Ashley Barrett, the quirky Vought publicist who eventually rises to become the VP of Hero Management. It looks as if Ashley will have an expanded role moving forward in season 3. Does more screen time mean the character is headed for her demise in season 3 or will something happen to Vought CEO Stan Edgar (played by Giancarlo Esposito)?
The Boys continued the momentum from its July 26, 2019 debut with a stunning second season which premiered on Amazon back in September. The streaming platform made the controversial decision to change the show's distribution schedule, opting for a weekly episodic drop instead of the Netflix-esque binge format where all episodes are dropped at once.
This approach certainly works for Disney+'s The Mandalorian and it definitely appears to have benefitted The Boys as the comic book adaptation improved upon its 84% season 1 Rotten Tomatoes score, rising to 97% for season 2.
