Darren Aronofsky is a wanted director right now in Hollywood. With the director's name being rumored to helm a Christopher Nolan-produced
Superman reboot for 2012, it looks like that Columbia Pictures is also looking for Aronofsky to direct the big screen adaptation of
Preacher, a long in development project that maybe now is finally one step closer of getting actually made.
Newsarama reports:
"A source speaking on the condition of anonymity tells Newsarama that Aronofsky is also being targeted to direct Columbia Pictures' big screen production of Preacher, based on the comic book series published by Vertigo, DC Comics’ Mature Readers imprint. DC of course is also the publishing home to the Man of Steel and a subsidiary of Warner Bros."
His new film
Black Swan is getting a lot of great reviews and it's safe to say that every movie he has done were great in their own way. So, if this is true, then Aronofsky will have to decide what project will he direct. What do you think? Is he a good choice for this adaptation?
