The premiere of AMC's Preacher pulled in rating which weren't horrible- at all- they were good for a newcomer. The show pulled in 2.4 million viewers in it's pilot, while it isn't bad, AMC wants to get more viewers for the show, and considering the mass appeal and rising popularity of the series on social media, then they have decided to re-air the pilot this Sunday.
Be sure to tune in to Preacher.
In other news about the AMC series, you can listen an audio commentary by the show's creators, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg.

Now, here's some of the facts that Seth and Evan talk about:
  • Seth and Evan fought for them to keep Jesse's black jacket.
  • They tried to make Jesse's hair messier, but Dominic Cooper's straight hair wouldn't allow it.
  • Originally, there were more fantasy sequences in the first episode, when Thomas Babusca who plays the kid of Donnie Schneck (Derek Wilson) comes to talk to Jesse, there was a montage of "cool, comic book images of Jesse beating people up".
  • Sam Catlin (Writer of the show) has a voice cameo in the pilot
  • Seth and Evan wanted each character and storyline to have "it's own look, own lighting style, and own camera style".
