According to Norman Reedus' twitter account, he will be playing an undisclosed role in AMC's upcoming comic adaptation of The Walking Dead. Since all other main characters have been cast for the most part, Reedus might be playing a new character created strictly for the TV show.

Reedus is probably most well known for his work in the cult classic The Boondock Saints and it's sequel that came out late last year. He has a little experience in comic book movies though as he had a supporting role in Guillermo Del Toro's Blade II.

He's playing the personification of the abortion of a movie that was Boondock Saints 2.

@ Ven0m - no ... no it wasn't. imnotwearing was right. It was a failed abortion that should have been handled by capable doctors or a skilled butcher.

I didn't watch it because I had a feeling it would suck. I only kinda liked the first one anyway, it had great bits, but also feckin awful bits!

It for sure had its problems, but I like it for the most part. Best lines of the movie
"You don't know me. Do these make me look gay??"
"You look like you might have seen one up close..."
Lmao

@ SirPrize - Yup! Which begs the eternal question. If you plan to fail, did you succeed?

Daboot, yeah Dafoe was the highlight, and the early scenes all worked. But it just descended into meh a bit. Plus both lead actors were kinda wooden.

Okay, the first one was mostly a serious movie. The second one was one where the director barely got funding, and just decided to take it and run with it to as crazy a place as he could. He is a little too in love with his own characters. I feel however, if somebody like Tarantino took this guy under his wing he could be something.

That being said, I enjoyed it greatly, but I saw it with some good friends at a little crappy independent theater and it was a really good time. A second watch might be different, but I think I have just accepted it for the madness it is.

The best line is "Shut up! Romeo's crying!"

Ya they blew. Dafoe was good. His part and character reminded me of Gary Oldmans in "Leon: The professional."

I think Dafoe showing up and walking the audience back through the action that already happened was really a good gimmick. To bad it didn't work as well in the second one.

Wow... i really wasn't expecting all this hate for a movie that is normally spotlessly licked clean! I haven't seen either of them. I have no clue why people praise it so much... and now hate it so much LOL

the second movie was cool, but i looked at both of them back to back for the first time, i never got to see the first one the first time around. but i thought the first one was really good while the second one was ok but just a little too out their.

Shaman that film became a cult sensation because it was made by a bar owner and was sort of a "little guy that could" story. It is quite enjoyable on top of that , in a trashy kinda way, but WAAAAY over rated too. Plus, Troy Duffy(the writer/director)is apparently such an enormous c#nt that someone actually made a documentary about it!

@BmanHall - A third where the whole thing is them getting out of prison, could actually be pretty darn entertaining.

@ Everyone Jesus the damn movie wasnt that bad. I liked it personally and enjoyed. Nothing beats the original it was the best. the second was good for a 8mil budget movie. I loved the story and premise. Ya sucks that benz couldnt replace dafoe. Defaintely not he worst movie ever made. Oh and 61% of RT community agrees with me. I guess the I found the 40% and they are on these boards.

McLovin - 7/20/2010, 12:29 PM
LOL @ BmanHall Oh, it was handled by a skilled butcher alright.

TOO TRUE!!!

@ Shaman - The 1st one is okay. I would saty clear of the 2nd.

@ Ven0m - I guess so bud. I enjoyed the 1st one, but could not get into the 2nd one. Different strokes I guess ...

Over all though, I think Norman will be a good addition to the cast. Good work Kev ;-)
