From the press kit that AMC released, the episode title for Episode 2 is entitled
“Guts”. Thus, we believe that the titles now on IMDB are indeed the titles of the episodes in season one.
Episode One: Days Gone Bye
Episode Two: Guts
Episode Three: Tell it to the Frogs
Episode Four: Vatos
Episode Five: Wildfire
Episode Six: TS-19
The first episode we already know what will happen from all the news reports. From all accounts, it seems episode 2
“Guts” is in reference to Glenn and Rick covering themselves in blood. We can make this connection because in the press kit for
The Walking Dead, some of the production stills show Glenn and Rick covered in gore. Since the press kit only contained the first two episodes, we can assume that the production shots only come from the first two.
“Tell it to The Frogs” I’m assuming is the idiom that means when you are trying to tell people something that aren’t listening because they are talking too much. Or it could mean a reference towards French people. What I’m assuming could happen in this episode is that this where we start to see some of the disagreement between Rick and Shane.
Vatos is obviously the Kirkman episode that deals with the Mexican survivor group.
Wildfire is probably the big showdown between the Atlanta survivors and the Mexican Survivor group.
TS-19 I think is going to be in reference to something with the CDC. It could be a number of things, a room number at the center, a secret project or case file, or it could be a directive on how to deal with the outbreak. I’m leaning towards a directive on what the government was planning to do.
Anyways, give your opinion of what you think these new episode titles mean.
The Walking Dead series premiere is on the Halloween at AMC!
