"Living in the same universe as The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead is a gritty drama that explores the onset of the undead apocalypse through the lens of a fractured family. Set in a city where people come to escape, shield secrets, and bury their pasts, a mysterious outbreak threatens to disrupt what little stability high school guidance counselor Madison Clark and English teacher Travis Manawa have managed to assemble. The everyday pressure of blending two families while dealing with resentful, escapist, and strung out children takes a back seat when society begins to break down. A forced evolution, a necessary survival of the fittest takes hold, and our dysfunctional family must either reinvent themselves or embrace their darker histories."

Fear The Walking Dead returns with its third episode this Sunday.

@fettastic

imo

the riot started because the first guy shot was a minority then in front of everyone they shot the girl in the head obviously because the police already know whats is going on.

I think that hating every one of the characters is what makes the show fun to watch. I can't wait for them to start dying.

Agreed. The parents are stupid for not being 100% up front with their kids, the daughter... I can kind of empathize with since no one's telling her shit (but she's being annoying about it), and the son... yeah. I want to like the dad, but the mom... I dunno.

I thought he faked throwing up because when the mom got back he says something to the effect of, "she tried to leave but I stopped her."

The zombie principal was so frustrating because the characters were so ignorant. It's like, for us, "run over and close the door. You're almost guaranteed to close it before he can react. Problem solved. Safely exit the building another way," but instead they have to say, "Heeeeyyy... you okay? Gosh, you sure don't seem okay. Hey, you remember me -- oh no don't bite me."

Im digging the show so far....and I have faith it will get better with each upcoming episode. As with The Walking Dead there will ALWAYS be people who complain that the show is too slow and not enough zombie action. Someone will always complain about something because that's what they enjoy doing.

@fettastic I agree. Bummed to say it, but I'm not digging the actors performances or their dialogue. ESPECIALLY the dialogue. Just like you said, cliche.

When the dad is on the cell phone with his ex-wife, and she's all whining, "You can't just come over here. The lawyers have an agreement..." i'm like TELL HER THERE'S A FOREIGN ATTACK! Lie! Do SOMETHING to get her attention. Same for his son... when he's all "I'm at a protest," just say, "You're mother's in the hospital. There's been an accident." LIE, bruh. It's the zombie-effing-apocalypse... you don't have to be boring.

And seriously, stop killing all of the black people. I was excited to see Matt (Maestro Harrell) do his thing. He was so good in The Wire, and in this show he was giving the most charismatic and believable performance (along with Frank Dillane).

@ISeeStupidPeople Yeah, Tobias is another character that actually has REASONABLE dialogue, and a good performance as well.

Hope his balls drop and he gets all hard like Rick... he's the only one with a clue.
