Mail Online (via FearHQ.com) has shared a new batch of set photos from Daryl Dixon, the upcoming The Walking Dead spin-off currently being shot in Paris, France. That series was filmed primarily in Atlanta, Georgia, but just as The Walking Dead: Dead City will shift the undead action to New York City, Daryl's story looks set to continue in these unexpected surroundings.
The actor was spotted alongside French actress Clémence Poésy, someone we're sure many of you will remember best for her role as Fleur Delacour in the Harry Potter franchise.
She could be seen wearing a hood and carrying a sword-like weapon on her back. Reedus, meanwhile, looked like he typically does as Daryl, but is dressed for France's colder climes compared to "Hotlanta."
Going back to Poésy, it's previously been confirmed that she'll play Isabelle, a member of a progressive religious group, who joins forces with Daryl on a journey across France and finds herself confronting her dark past in Paris.
The only other confirmed cast member is Adam Nagaitis (The Last Duel). He's playing Quinn, the owner of an underground nightclub in Paris called the Demimonde who has become a powerful figure after the zombie apocalypse.
Cameras started rolling last year, and the show will follow Daryl (Reedus) after he washes ashore in France and struggles to piece together how he got there and why. The series tracks his journey across a broken but resilient France as he hopes to find a way back home.
As he makes the journey, though, the connections he forms along the way complicate his ultimate plan.
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon will consist of 6 episodes and is expected to premiere on AMC later this year.
