THE WALKING DEAD: DARYL DIXON Set Photos Show The Title Character In Some Unexpected New Surroundings

Mail Online (via FearHQ.com) has shared a new batch of set photos from Daryl Dixon, the upcoming The Walking Dead spin-off currently being shot in Paris, France. That series was filmed primarily in Atlanta, Georgia, but just as The Walking Dead: Dead City will shift the undead action to New York City, Daryl's story looks set to continue in these unexpected surroundings.

The actor was spotted alongside French actress Clémence Poésy, someone we're sure many of you will remember best for her role as Fleur Delacour in the Harry Potter franchise.

She could be seen wearing a hood and carrying a sword-like weapon on her back. Reedus, meanwhile, looked like he typically does as Daryl, but is dressed for France's colder climes compared to "Hotlanta."

Going back to Poésy, it's previously been confirmed that she'll play Isabelle, a member of a progressive religious group, who joins forces with Daryl on a journey across France and finds herself confronting her dark past in Paris.

The only other confirmed cast member is Adam Nagaitis (The Last Duel). He's playing Quinn, the owner of an underground nightclub in Paris called the Demimonde who has become a powerful figure after the zombie apocalypse.

Cameras started rolling last year, and the show will follow Daryl (Reedus) after he washes ashore in France and struggles to piece together how he got there and why. The series tracks his journey across a broken but resilient France as he hopes to find a way back home.

As he makes the journey, though, the connections he forms along the way complicate his ultimate plan.

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon will consist of 6 episodes and is expected to premiere on AMC later this year.

I quit on watching TWD a long time ago but since they're shooting also in my area I will give it a look. You can definitely tell it's been cold these past few days !

@JoshWilding

Man, Like everyone else, I bitch about some of your lousy top 10 lists even though I know you gotta pay the bills, & if I had any work ethic at all or were ever sober, I would do the same thing in a minute.

Most people here complain that all things Walking Dead are long since crap, but I am not one of them. I look forward to these new shows and appreciate this new info.

I also agree more with your movie reviews than any of the other writers here. Especially regarding Avaturd 2.

Well done soldier. Carry on.

@B89 -

With so much TV, games, etc., a lot of people here don't have the attention span to watch something for 11 seasons.

I enjoyed the first few seasons of the first show but that's it. Didn't stick with it till the end, left just before Rick was written off.

Probably my favorite thing Walking Dead related was the Telltale game with Lee and Clementine. Totally was The Last of Us before Joel and Ellie.

I'd love a show with Lee and Clem as leads. Probably never will now.

@TheVandalore - yeah, those games were great. I even liked the New Frontier, including it's main characters.

If they ever make a show though, I think they should merge some characters and events (except for Clem, Lee and Kenny obviously)

Only six episodes? That doesn't sound so bad.

I am might rewatch the first TWD season again because it's also just six episodes, and maybe that get's me interested enough to immediately jump to this and Dead City.

That can't be what they're calling the show. Got to be a working title, right?
