Details on the DC Universe series Doom Patrol might be scarce, but a new character breakdown for Crazy Jane sheds a bit more light on how the live-action series will adapt the Grant Morrison creation...
To the delight of many comic book fans, DC’s super-powered team Doom Patrol will finally receive their very own live-action TV series next year on the DC Universe streaming service, and a few of the members will even make their debut on the upcoming Titans.
However, there are some characters – including Crazy Jane – who will have to wait until 2019 to get their time to shine. Thankfully, ahead of her first big live-action appearance, a new character breakdown provides us with some details on the show's depiction of Jane.
According to That Hashtag Show, Kay Challis, a.k.a Crazy Jane, is being depicted as a sexy woman in her 20s, who like her comic book counterpart, has multiple personalities. Also, as many expected, the Grant Morrison and Richard Case creation will be a series regular. Finally, the site learned that this small-screen incarnation of Jane will be “a bit of a Harley Quinn-esque character."
Crazy Jane is just one of the major characters Doom Patrol is in the process of casting, as the series is currently looking at actors for the role of Cyborg and is reportedly eyeing Kelsey Grammer to portray The Chief.
