Fans of the DCEU got a subtle easter egg in the most recent episode of Krypton titled "House of Zod". For those who have watched Wonder Woman, you'll remember Hippolyta exchanging words with Diana after she decides to venture into the world of man. Hippolyta ends up telling Diana "You have been my greatest love. Today, you are my greatest sorrow.

While the line wasn't exactly the same, the similarities are quite clever and cannot be denied. This episode showed that Lyta was proven innocent and was allowed to leave prison which was something that Jayna was obviously upset by. However, when Jayna was approached by Lyta after the trial, the mother states, "You have always been my greatest love, and now my greatest shame."

Of course the dialogue doesn't mean that Krypton and the DCEU are connected at all considering that's something that was already debunked by the writers before the show aired. Nevertheless, it is a pretty clever Easter egg especially as actress Ann Ogbomo (Jayna-Zod) also played a role in Wonder Woman as the Amazon Chancellor Phillippus.

Ann Ogbomo has also commented on the differences between the two roles she's played in a recent interview:

When I played Philippus in Wonder Woman, although we hadn't seen her in a film necessarily before, the character is in people's minds from the comics, so people have an idea of what they want that character to be. However, in this (Krypton), I feel that, yes, I'm a Zod, but you don't know the character. You've never met this character before, so it's very exciting for me as an actor because it's mine and I'm creating it.
