Cyborg Superman's Deadly Plan Is Revealed In This Featurette For Tonight's Episode Of SUPERGIRL

This new featurette for tonight's episode of Supergirl sheds some light on why Cyborg Superman recently paid a visit to the Fortress of Solitude, and in case you hadn't guessed, he's up to no good!

While he may not bear much of a resemblance to his comic book counterpart, Cyborg Superman is currently making his presence felt in Supergirl in a big way. Last week, he stole some of the Girl of Steel's blood and paid a visit to the Fortress of Solitude, and we now know that's because he's going to create a virus to kill Earth's aliens (you can see that go down in this other clip from the episode).

Cyborg Superman is a villain who should really be used in this series the same way Reverse-Flash was in The Flash, but it seems like he'll just be a pawn of CADMUS in this series. Hopefully that changes as time goes on, but the video below sheds some interesting light on what's to come in "Medusa" and even gives us a glimpse of Barry and Cisco's arrival on Kara's Earth as they recruit her for "Invasion!"

A NIGHT OF CONFESSIONS; THE EPIC SUPERHERO CROSSOVER KICKS OFF TONIGHT — Eliza (guest star Helen Slater) comes to town to celebrate Thanksgiving with her daughters. Alex (Chyler Leigh) decides it’s time to come out to her mother; Kara (Melissa Benoist) is shocked when Eliza suggests Mon-El (Chris Wood) has feelings for her, and Winn (Jeremy Jordan) and James (Mehcad Brooks) consider telling Kara the truth about the Guardian. Meanwhile, CADMUS unleashes a virus that instantly kills any alien in the vicinity so Kara enlists an unexpected ally – Lena Luthor (Katie McGrath). The epic superhero crossover kicks off tonight when Barry Allen (guest star Grant Gustin) and Cisco Ramon (guest star Carlos Valdes) seek Kara’s help with an alien invasion on their Earth. Stefan Pleszczynski directed the episode written by Jessica Queller & Derek Simon.

Man of the character decisions on this show are idiotic. Jimmy Olsen as Guardian, Alex as awkward and confused lesbo, Cyborg Not-Superman.

Honestly was hoping they'd make Power Girl with her blood.

Helen Slater still looks DAMN good too.

Fair is Fair tho.

I'm still holding out hope that Hank Henshaw isn't Cyborg Superman since David Harewood is already playing Martian Manhunter.

I want it to be revealed that Dean Cain, aka Kara's step father is the real Cyborg Superman, and that he was under the control of Cadmus when he freed Mon-El and Kara. That would be a great twist.

Another twist I hope they do is that Lena is the one actually running Cadmus for Lex and their mother is just a patsy for when it all comes crashing down.

@Highflyer - J'onn J'onzz assumed the identity of Hank Henshaw. Cyborg Superman is the real Hank Henshaw.
