Next Tuesday, Supergirl brings its six-season run to a close with an epic two-part series finale that will see the Girl of Steel (Melissa Benoist) and all of her Superfriends take on the biggest challenge of their lives as they fight off the combined efforts of Lex Luthor (Jon Cryer) and Nyxly (Peta Sergeant).

Plus, expect a number of unexpected surprises, as the final hours will also play host to Alex (Chyler Leigh) and Kelly's (Azie Tesfai) big wedding day, a tragic funeral for a friend, and the battle to save National City.

Meanwhile, Matt Ryan finally makes his return to Legends of Tomorrow as a new character named Dr. Gwyn Davies, and on Batwoman, Ryan Wilder (Javicia Leslie) does some recon at Wayne Enterprises.

As for what's to come in a few weeks, we have our first official poster for The Flash: Armageddon, which sees the Scarlet Speedster (Grant Gustin) team with The Atom (Brandon Routh), Black Lightning (Cress Williams), Batwoman, Green Arrow (Katherine McNamara), and Sentinel to take on Despero (Tony Curran).

Finally, Stargirl ended its second season by making toast of Eclipso (Nick E. Tarabay), and we got a preview of what's to come in season three. "Frenemies" will see the Crocks move next door, and it looks like the big bad of the season will be Mister Bones, voiced by Keith David!

Iris looks SOOOOOO out of place on that poster, LMFAO. Otherwise, its a solid poster.

Otherwise, Supergirl has been pretty solid for the past few weeks. Did not expect that surprise character fate in the previous episode, and don't entirely think it was necessary for the series coming to a close. But, Lex has been really great, as expected, interested in seeing how everything wraps up.

Star Girl was great, cant wait for season 3.
Season 1 we got Shinning Knight
Season 2 we got Doctor Modnight
Wonder if they will count Star Man for that type of role or if we will get another classic hero.

Supergirl is improving again, still not its best but far from its worst. Hopefully they stick the landing for the finale.

Legends Of Tomorrow…..honestly think its loosing the magic. Season 2 and 3 found the perfect tone, now they tend to go too far into the silly a lot of the times and really the pay off for the past few seasons have been disappointing despite great build up.

Batwoman, dont care

Flash, please be better this season or fire the showrunner after this season or end. Its basically power rangers writing for the past 2 seasons.
Only arc that live up to the hype was Bloodwork

Cant wait for Superman and Lois season 2 and Star Girl season 3. Hopefully Naomi is good

Honestly think Legends and Flash have run their course

Super belated post but I am gonna do it either and start with Supergirl and then Flash.

The action scenes were pretty good here especially in the opening with the Dream Totem part.

Kara said something that here that sounded very familiar to another thing Courtney/Stargirl said in the middle of Season 2.

Kara: "Alex, life is unpredictable. The world is unpredictable. There will always be a threat. You have to seize the joy when you can."

Courtney: [to Yolanda] "Look, Pat and my mom said that no matter what we're dealing with, we can't let the rest of our lives fall apart."

Thought that it was a cool, accidental parallels between quotes.

The subplot about passing on her lead glasses to Alex's daughter in case she ever needed to hide her abilities hinted further that she will end up departing the planet in some way.

Lex said no more anti-kryptonite space armor thanks to his 31st century tech. Putting the odds against Supergirl for the series finale. And if he's been playing Nyxly this entire time, which would be very in character, he's a done a superb job in making me buy it due to the amount of times he's been willing to sacrifice chances and even himself just to save her.

Brainiac-5's 11th hour is coming if he has to give everything up to merge with the Big Brain in the future to fix it and leave Dreamer behind in the present. Either they find a different way or Nia chooses to go with him there and find an alternative to the issue or just to spend their final days together there until it is time for Brainy to surrender. They sure have the odds stacked against them.

And that ending, damn. It got really dark before the final two episodes unlike any other cliffhanger. It's all on Andrea though for messing with things and not listening.

RIP William.

@KingPatel I know we're dealing right now with a lot of stuff like the No Way Home leaks and others stuff but this is the official series finale trailer for tonight's series finale. If you can make an articule just for it, cool, if not I totally get it if you couldn't due to schedle conflicts.

----------------------------------------------

The Flash: Armageddon poster looks cool and I like that Jefferson is at the center.

I wonder what is up with the weird symbol next to Iris.

We actually have the synopsis for the first two episodes:

PART ONE OF THE ARMAGEDDON FIVE EPISODE EVENT

When a powerful alien threat arrives on Earth under mysterious circumstances, Barry (Grant Gustin), Iris (Candice Patton) and the rest of Team Flash are pushed to their limits in a desperate battle to save the world. But with time running out and the fate of humanity at stake, Flash and his companions will also need to enlist the help of some old friends if the forces of good are to prevail.

"Armageddon, Part 2" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV- PG, V) (HDTV)

THE FLASH SEEKS HELP FROM BLACK LIGHTNING - Despero (guest star Tony Curran) warns The Flash (Grant Gustin) that great tragedies will befall the speedster and cause him to lose his mind. Once that happens, Armageddon will begin. Determined to prove Despero wrong, Barry doubles down on proving his innocence but a devastating revelation from Iris (Candice Patton) pushes him to the edge and sends him to seek counsel from Black Lightning (guest star Cress Williams). Menhaj Huda directed the episode written by Jonathan Butler & Gabriel Garza (#802). Original airdate 11/23/2021.

Still gotta catch up with Legends and Batwoman.

Stargirl S2 finale needed it's own post because I got a lot I wanna say about it and what I think will lead into Season 3:

The Season finale was pretty amazing, to see the heroes finally be allowed to go all out against Eclipso felt refreshing after spending half of the Season in these constant horror loop episodes seeing the heroes be put through the grinder and most of the time coming up short against his mind games. It felt rewarding to have an action packed finale.

Eclipso summoning Ted Grant, Cindy's younger self that killed her mother and a bully version of Pat (that sight for me pretty much confirmed the dark side he must've used to intimidate Rick's douche uncle) to fight against Yolanda, Cindy and Pat was pretty clever, his final fear illusions. They sure wrecked the entire boardroom meeting floor in the American Dream especially with Courtney trying to land a hit on the real Eclipso because the kid image he projects is another mirage. That's where Beth's goggles came in to change the course of the fight.

Stargirl & Shiv combos against Eclipso were badass, from this point forward the final battle just got better as it spread from that room into the streets of Blue Valley. Mike using S.T.R.I.P.E. and the new upgrades like the flamethrower and buzz-saw was long-overdue, I sure missed seeing the robot in action.

The part with Jakeem and Thunderbolt electrocuting Eclipso was also epic but damn, seeing actually grab Thunderbolt and spinning him to then throw him at S.T.R.I.P.E. showed how strong Eclipso really had become.

Rick seriously needs to learn to medidate as Mike said, he still hasn't learned to keep his emotions and outbursts in check. I'm sure that if that hourglass grew in size and pulled out arms and legs that he would go and fight it. But I liked that he still suited up and called for back up in Grundy.

Fun fact: during Eclipso vs Grundy you can actually see that they were fighting in front of the finished mural Cameron was doing for Jordan. As in, it was already finished a day before. (Unless all that he was waiting for that night was for the paint to dry, lucky it did not receive any damage)

R.I.P. Grundy, at least until for now.

The explanation about Shade's return made sense and I got to chuckle at how Eclipso didn't count on how by merging the Shawdowlands with Earth-2 he would indirectly be restoring Shade at 100%. Mistake right there.

That scene where Eclipso was holding Pat hostage and twisting his arm as he baited and challenged Courtney to admit her hatred for him was great and really made me wish that Nick Tarabay had more scenes as the character in the flesh.

I knew Cindy was going to go for the kill once Courtney became possessed. Yolanda's return proved right her suspicions.

Sylvester's arrival was right on time. I wonder if he's also aware and shares what Eclipso said about the Cosmic Staff being a conduit of spiritual enlightenment and that it has the power of creation & if he's going to teach anything of that to Courtney in Season 3. But to be honest hearing him say that "superheroes don't need school" makes me anxious in a serious way that I wasn't expecting.

That montage of all the precious people and love that Courtney has received ever since she got to Blue Valley, when she began to reform the JSA as well as memories of her family especially with Pat where sweet. Shoutout as well for including the one from 1x07 when she said "good morning" to the excited Staff. But also won't lie, I sure was expecting some of the bonding moments that she had in this Season with Cameron to show up. Although perhaps they weren't because he's been apart from the JSA life style, which is the one that worried Eclipso and the one he wanted to destroy in order to slowly fester hatred inside of her to all lead to this moment where he'd corrupt her and knowing Court, currently she sure would like to keep him away from all of those things. Plus they're still in the part of figuring out their feelings for each other so I suppose it made sense to not include it yet.

Even the Crocks showed up, a little late though. Cindy better wish Artemis never finds out she's the reason why she failed her tryouts.

This spread shot was awesome.

Eclipso defeated and turned into a burnt toast, I got that reference. Will they follow Rick's advice of keeping it somewhere safe? Where to even put it? Oh well, a lingering question for another time.

Courtney ends this story with her belief in the goodness inside of people being stronger than their darkness as reaffirmed. She's going to need it to navigate the new dynamics with Sportsmaster, Tigress, Artemis and Cindy. (And maybe even with Cameron although that should be in theory the easiest one)

Yolanda returned to the JSA and her next storyline will be basically evaluating if Cindy is worthy to also join or not. But boy Cindy has quite the nerve to say she should be given the same treatment that Yolanda has got with her mistakes. I wouldn't call a "mistake" to go and leak private pictures and even continue the humiliation non-stop with slut-shaming her when that wasn't even necessary beyond what was asked by her to do. And that's just the start from S1, all of what happened in S2 with Eclipso was because of her revenge. If she really wants to win her over she's gonna have to more than just behave like a good JSA candidate, she's gonna have to actually try to become a good person, develop genuine care for the others because Yolanda's the way she is now because of her actions.

I'm still not sure if those weird piercing headaches Yolanda was experiencing are completely over just because she signed up again as Wildcat, those sounded way too damn similar to the powers Brainwave and Henry had. Again, if Cindy really wants to be in maybe she should watch out if she's still getting them since she was the one monitoring Henry to see if he developed powers or not.

But hence why the next theme is Frenemies: JSA and ISA living in Blue Valley and socially co-existing either as new neighbours like the Crocks with the Whitmore-Dugans and Cindy in her tryouts to be in the team. As well as Shade I suppose sticking around. Surprisingly I trust more in him and also in Artemis who has shown to be obedient most of the time thanks to her parents' presence than in Cindy.

Frenemies dynamics are going to be Courtney & Yolanda with Cindy, Artemis with Beth (the whole "jock vs nerd" thing) and I would not couint out one with Rick too after their fight in 2x06.

And after the reveal of Cameron's grandparents showing him that they possess cryokinetic powers after he finished the mural to honor his dad (it came out well) things are bound to get more interesting. I'd say that even without this revelation, Cameron sure as hell would never give Cindy any warm treatment if she's planning to go back to the school 'cause how else is she even gonna attempt to get in good graces with Courtney's team? But the same would go with Rick after that tense staredown they had episodes ago which to be honest was on Rick's because Cameron didn't do anything to him back then, he was just painting the mural. (And worth noting he's in neither team even though he has the moral compass to be more of a JSA member since S1)

Speaking of Rick, the hourglass's repair is another storyline that he will have to fix because until he does it he can't be Hourman. I just wonder if it'll happen before or after he properly buries Grundy with the instructions Shade gave him. Never thought Shade would share his final moments of screentime in S2 with him. But it makes sense someone like he knows the tricks behind Grundy's revival, he's been alive for hundred of years, the question would be why he wants him to be back besides just being former ISA members.

Beth's parents being happy that she's a superhero was the right recipe to make them look beyond their divorce and stick together. Not bad but also funny with dire consequences to Beth because now she's got all of their over-excited attention.

Mike wants to start his own team with Jakeem and Thunderbolt...lets see how that goes. Hope he still gets his own S.T.R.I.P.E. as it was teased.

I'll miss McNider being away. I wanted him to stay and share scenes with Sylvester now that he was back or to adopt Rick so that he no longer has to live with his abusive uncle. I wonder if the subplot with his discovery that he has a 10 year-old son will come up again in S3.

Mister Bones and the Helix Institute as the new big bads vs the JSA and in-the-process of reforming ISA characters. If they all really like their lives in Blue Valley and wanna keep it that way they'll have to band together again.
