Meanwhile, Alex (Chyler Leigh), J'onn (David Harewood) and Kelly (Azie Tesfai) team-up to rescue a man stuck inside a virtual reality escape room.

Season four showed that truth, justice and the American way are stronger than fear and hate, as Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) stopped Lex Luthor’s anti-alien campaign with the power of the press, no cape required. Watch, like Leviathan, as new dynamics and relationships unfold for Supergirl and her friends and colleagues as their adventures continue in season five!

On the next episode......think this is the first time im going to go into an episode expecting it to be bad. I get there is a lot of prejudice and now that the world is different, Im more willing to buy this stuff being a major issue, despite aliens existing, but seriously these "special" episodes range from okay to terrible. Usually the subject of it comes out of nowhere and is usually never brought up again. Like when they did the racism story on supergirl when a cop pointed a gun at an unmasked jimmy, despite the fact that team arrow are always being shot at by cops (seriously cops shooting at you is just a regular thing for non powered heroes).

Hopefully this coming episode proves me wrong, and delivers whatever message it's trying to get across without being too heavy handed. It can be done, lots of shows have done it in the past.
