In many ways, all of Barry's Speedster villains across The Flash's three seasons have arise from his own actions or in some cases, inaction. Perhaps that's the reason why one of the core Team Flash members thinks its best to leave Barry trapped in the Speed Force?
Speaking to EW, Carlos Valdes doesn't reveal which member of the team it is but confirms that it's definitely not Cisco.
"I wish I could say that the team unanimously agrees that things are not the same when the season starts, but not everybody feels that way. Most of the energy on the team is toward getting Barry back, and Cisco may or may not have some things up his sleeve with regards with how to make that happen, but there is a member of the team that’s not on board, and that ultimately makes the mission to get Barry back a lot more difficult. But the thing about Cisco is if he wants to get his friends back, he will do whatever it takes the get his friends back — and that’s not just Barry."
Out of all the members of Team Flash who do you think would be fine with the status quo of Barry Allen trapped in the Speed Force and the dynamic duo of Kid Flash and Vibe as Central City's superhero saviors? Based on Valdes' description, perhaps it's Danielle Panabaker's Caitlin Frost who thinks Barry is reaping what he's sown? After all, Cisco would likely need her scientific genius to help pull off whatever he has up his sleeve.
The Flash season 4 will premiere on October 10 at 8/7c on The CW.
