Entertainment Weekly reveals that Jessica Parker Kennedy is set to return to The Flash for multiple episodes, including the landmark 150th instalment. The actress played Nora Allen-West, a.k.a. XS, in The CW series, and this unexpected return means she will cross paths with Jordan Fisher's Bart Allen/Impulse, a character set to be introduced in the anniversary episode.
Nora debuted as a mystery character who kept crossing paths with the members of Team Flash, with her true identity as Barry and Iris' daughter revealed in the season four finale.
Ultimately, we'd learn that Eobard Thawne had trained her in the future and manipulated the wannabe hero into travelling back in time to aid his escape from prison. She was erased from the timeline thanks to Reverse-Flash, so the method of her return should be very interesting.
Unfortunately, no additional details have been revealed just yet!
The site has also shared an updated description for Impulse: "Bart is the fastest teenager on the planet. But due to Bart's penchant for wildly impulsive behavior, stunned parents Barry and Iris will have their hands full trying to teach their new son patience. But it's a task they'll have to accomplish in order for their family to work together and stop Team Flash's biggest threat yet!"
Production has now started on The Flash's 150th episode, so we could see set photos shortly.
