TITANS Season 2, Episode 2 Synopsis Comes With An Awesome New Look At Deathstroke

A synopsis for the second episode of Titans season 2 is now online, and DC Universe has also released a couple of new stills featuring Deathstroke (Esai Morales) and his daughter, Ravager (Chelsea Zhang).

Titans season 2 premiered on DC Universe last week, and the streaming service has now released a synopsis and couple of promo images for the second episode, "Rose."

"While Dick trains the next generation of Titans, Donna and Kory track down a rogue metahuman. But an old threat drives the Titans – old and new – back together."

The rogue metahuman is most likely Shimmer (who was glimpsed in the recent trailer), while Slade Wilson, aka Deathstroke, is almost certainly the old threat. His daughter Ravager is also sure to play a big role - after all, the episode is named after her!

Check out new images of Slade and Rose Wilson below along with the trailer and some character banners, and let us know what you thought of the first episode in the comments.

Dick Grayson

Dick literally burned away his Robin persona in season 1, and although the season 2 trailer actually implies that he may attempt to replace Bruce Wayne as Batman, it's far more likely that he'll create an all-new superhero mantle for himself.

Starfire

Starfire's original "costume" came in for some backlash, but that was only ever a placeholder. The powerful alien is expected to don a more comic-accurate outfit in season 2, and is pictured here in what might well be a prototype version.

Raven

Poor Rachel found her real family towards the end of season 1, only to discover that her father was a demon and her mother his willing disciple. When the show returns, the character will be sporting a more comic-accurate appearance.

Hawk and Dove

Hawk and Dove were both in pretty bad shape at the end of season 1, but it looks like the troubled heroes are going to pull themselves together to reform the Titans with their old teammate.

In the new still below, the pair stand with Donna Troy, Jason Todd and Starfire with tellingly black eyes. Unless they've all decided to seriously goth-up their style, it's safe to assume they're also under Trigon's spell.

Season 2 Poster

The season two premiere episode follows directly after the apocalyptic events of last season's finale. With Rachel's father, Trigon (guest star SEAMUS DEVER) having successfully turned Dick dark, he sets out to win the others over to his side by embracing their inner darkness. With everyone under Trigon's control, Rachel and Gar find themselves fighting what seems like a hopeless battle against the powers of Trigon.

@tmp3 - Trigon was ass. And he was defeated within the first 30 minutes of the goddamn show. Dude did nothing after this transformation but just stand and bask. It was foolish and points out that this episode should have been the finale of the previous season.

He looks a lot better than I originally thought. Shoulders are a bit excessive though.

As someone who liked the first season (even though it starts pretty terribly), i thought this first episode was super confusing. It managed to underwhelm both as a first step in the new season, and as a resolution of the last one. It wasn't terrible, but it was very strange and the pacing was totally off, it was like watching two halves of two different episodes on two different seasons. Well. i think it'll get better since the season will finally start in the second episode.

This show is pretty bizarre, but people hating on that Deathstroke costume are simply doing it just for the sake of doing it. It looks amazing to me.

I felt the first 2/3 of episode 1 were pretty messy, but the last 1/3 was a damn good start to season 2.

Why can't Akiva Goldman just disappear? How the [frick] does he keep getting work?

Didn't like S2 premiere, but this Slade is f*cking DOPE, shit's gonna be good with him as an antagonist instead of a shitty ass CG villain.

I'm still on the fence about getting DC's or Disney's streaming services. 1 or 2 shows that kinda interest me on both channels don't seem worth it at all.

@HeavyMetal4Life trust me you have no clue how accurate a description that is.

@MrCamw1- well "looks like a video game" is a pretty apt description for both of them. I really don't like this Deathstroke costume, looks too fake and video gamey. I think its the mask most of all that makes it look less real.

Jason is the best part of this show. So glad he's a regular now. He should've been from the start
