If you follow Hayley Atwell (Captain America: The First Avenger) on Twitter, you probably know by now that over the past few weeks, she's more or less become the queen of Dubsmash, a popular new iOS app that allows users to lipsync with popular songs, movie lines, and a variety of other sounds.
Over the past weekend at San Diego Comic-Con, Atwell found her Dubsmash skills put to the test as she and Agent Carter co-star James D'Arcy (Let's Be Cops) found themselves locked in a fierce competition with Clark Gregg (The Avengers) and the cast of Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.. In case you missed CBM's recap on Sunday night, the final entry featured the full Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. cast singing along to Queen's "We Are The Champions" before revealing Gregg decked out in a full Peggy Carter outfit, red hat and all.
Following that entry, the AOS cast went ahead and prematurely declared victory, but if Atwell's anything like her on-screen counterpart, and we're willing to bet she is, fans everywhere knew she surely wasn't going down without a fight and sure enough, later that night, she went ahead and declared that ten agents were no match for Peggy Carter... And well, after letting the noise die down a bit, it turns out Atwell couldn't have been more right.
Earlier today, Peggy & Jarvis reunited for the ultimate Dubsmash, set to Queen's "Another One Bites The Dust," featuring a virtually unbeatable trump card that will likely have Agent Coulson running around like a little schoolboy. Check it out for yourself below:
I'd say that's a K.O.
On the bright side, at least Phil finally got that autograph.
UPDATE: Team Carter takes a victory lap!
