DAREDEVIL's Story Is Reportedly "Unlikely" To Continue On The Big Screen After Netflix Cancelation

More bad news for Daredevil fans today as it's been revealed by reliable sources that there aren't any plans for the Man Without Fear to make the leap to the big screen. What about Disney +, though?

Last night, we learned that Netflix had made the infuriating decision to cancel Daredevil after three seasons. There are a lot of different reasons going around for why that might be, including low viewership, Disney's decision to launch its own streaming service, and problems behind the scenes.

Whatever the answer may be, an official statement claimed that we will see Charlie Cox's Man Without Fear in future projects but what those might be isn't clear as of right now (it's probably too late for Daredevil to be added to The Punisher season two and we know we're not getting more of The Defenders after the online streaming service quietly cancelled the series).

According to Deadline, though, we shouldn't expect to see the hero on the big screen as the trade's sources tell them that a movie is "unlikely" right now.

It is possible that Daredevil (along with Iron Fist and Luke Cage) could be added to Disney+, but nothing is guaranteed and we currently have no idea whether or not Marvel will consider shopping around the show to other networks and streaming services. If so, Hulu and ABC are probably very strong contenders but everything is uncertain right now.

Do you think we've seen the last of Matt Murdock and company? Sound off down below.

Tbh, I don't see Daredevil working on a Disney streaming service, considering how kid-friendly Disney usually is and how close Daredevil gets to R-rated content.

As sad as it is to see these shows go, I hope this means we’ll see them get main-MCU movie releases sooner rather than later. They could become household names like Cap, Iron Man, Hulk & Thor, they just haven’t had the opportunity for that level of exposure yet.

Plus seeing some extremely comic-accurate costumes would be cool. Daredevil’s never really did it for me (aside from the black suit) and we won’t even talk about Iron Fist
