Jon Bernthal Promises To Give 'the Punisher' His All On Season 2 Of DAREDEVIL

He doesn't say much, but The Walking Dead alum Jon Bernthal has talked a bit more about playing Frank Castle aka The Punisher on the next season of Marvel's Daredevil Netflix series. Check it out!

It's been over two weeks since it was announced that Jon Bernthal will be portraying Frank Castle, The Punisher, on the second season of Marvel's Daredevil Netflix series. The Walking Dead actor has since discussed being cast as the beloved antihero, and he's even been spotted doing some research, but Bernthal recently talked a bit more during a recent CBS News interview.

"I'm extremely honored and grateful, and I know the character has a ton of fans out there," said Jon Bernthal when asked about The Punisher role. "I give every single one of them my word that I'm going to give it my all." Berntha's past performances are reasurring that he will deliver as The Punisher, but it's awesome that he's acknowleding the character's fanbase. What do you think?

Even though I'm not the biggest fan of Punisher: War Zone I still did really like Stevenson as Frank Castle

If punisher is coming to netflix i wonder if that this will open the doors for other characters to show up in the netflix shows like ghostrider, moonknight, cloak and dagger and others. Plus i hope they all join the avengers in infinity war and im still holding my breathe for a daredevil appearance in civil war i mean COME ON

not my first choice but we will se how this is gonna turn up. I saw "Wolf o Wall Street" once and as i recall he was pretty good in it. I think it was second time i watched him on screen. After a movie i checked this guy on imdb and i was surprised to see it was the same guy who played Shane. Anyway ...

In my book, the best Punisher will always be Mel Gibson in that movie that only exists in my head.

I'm sure Bernthal will nail it. If he gives it even half of the intensity of his Walking Dead performance, he'll be great.

Bernthal very well may give us the "definitive" Punisher in live action.
Thomas Jane & Ray Stevenson did pretty good & there are very cool moments in the films they starred in.
Overall those other Punisher movies didn't quite get it right. Dolph Lungren version was the weakest of all but now that Marvel is calling the shots..The Real Punisher should appear in season 2 of Daredevil. Hell Yes!

He's a good actor. He was such a prick in Fury but I was still a little sad when his character died.

Other than Dolph Lungdren, I think every actor that has portrayed Punisher in live action has pulled off the look perfectly. Berthanel is no different. Looking forward to this
