Marvel Studios loves to tease that everything is connected in the MCU, so could this seemingly innocent set photo from
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier lead to bigger things to come in the previously announced
She-Hulk Disney+ series?
A Twitter user (see below) has snapped a photo that appears to indicate that
Samson Development
will play a role in the Malcolm Spellman spearheaded television show. Some Marvel fans are wondering if that company will turn out to be owned by Doc Samson, a character played by Ty Burrell in 2008's
The Incredible Hulk. With so much of
Falcon and the Winter Soldier still shrouded in mystery, could the limited series revolve around another attempt to recreate the super-soldier formula or the tangentially-related process that resulted in the creation of
Abomination?
Disney is said to be holding a special event on March 5th for the official launch of Disney+ in Europe where Marvel Studios will reportedly unveil new details about all the MCU shows planned for the streaming platform. Perhaps we will get new details on
Falcon and the Winter Soldier and how Zemo and U.S. Agent factor into whatever mission Sam and Bucky are attempting to complete.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is currently scheduled for release in August 2020 and will consist of six episodes. Reports state the Disney/Marvel are spending upwards of $25 million per episode. The series stars Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan as the titular heroes, along with Daniel Brühl as Baron Helmut Zemo, Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter and Wyatt Russell as John Walker aka U.S. Agent. More recently, Carl Lumby was confirmed to have a supporting role in the series, with some speculating that he's playing Isaiah Bradley, the African-American test-subject the U.S. government used to try and recreate the Super Soldier formula.
