Hawkeye managed to fit a lot of story into its six episodes, including the return of Florence Pugh's Yelena Belova following her introduction in Black Widow. Looking to make Clint Barton pay for his role in Natasha Romanoff's death, the assassin ended up taking aim at both him and Kate Bishop, though an unlikely friendship formed with the latter that we hope will continue to be explored.
By the time all was said and done, Yelena forgave Clint, but when she was attempting to take the archer down, the Black Widow was decked out in some formidable-looking spy gear which paid homage to her comic book roots.
This concept art by Josh Nizzi shows a completely different take on Yelena for her MCU return. "Here is an unused look I did for Yelena in Hawkeye," he says in the Instagram post below. "I was combining New York wet winter and tactical wear." It could have worked, and is a cool design it might not hurt to revisit down the line, but we are happy with what we got!
As well as that tactical gear, Yelena had a new Black Widow-inspired costume that wouldn't look out of place with the rest of the Avengers when she hopefully assembles alongside Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

Marvel Studios Director of Visual Development Andy Park has also shared some of his amazing work on Hawkeye. It may look familiar, but unlike the version of this piece we previously saw, it uses the likeness of Hailee Steinfeld (remember, she was always Marvel Studios' top choice for the role).
