HAWKEYE Star Hailee Steinfeld Reflects On "Wonderful" Time Working With Florence Pugh; New Photoshoot Revealed

Based on the social media reactions to Hawkeye, Hailee Steinfeld steals the show as Kate Bishop in the upcoming Disney+ series. We shouldn't be surprised given what a terrific actress she is, and during a recent interview with Cosmopolitan, Steinfeld opened up about getting to share the screen a performer every bit as talented: Black Widow star Florence Pugh.

"We had a moment together where we were shooting and something went wrong," Steinfeld recalled after being asked if she knew they'd get along. "There was no recovering from it. I started laughing so hard that somebody thought I was crying - I don’t know what that says about my laugh - and I just remember a flood of people rushing in and being like, 'Is everyone okay?' And I’m literally facedown on the ground, just hysterically laughing. Mind you, we were in a scene that was in no way, shape, or form meant to be at all funny. We really did have a wonderful time together."

Of course, another important co-star in Hawkeye - not counting Jeremey Renner - is Lucky the Pizza Dog. As you might expect, Steinfeld had a blast getting to work with the adorable canine.

"Kate and Lucky are pretty much on this journey together. The real dog who plays Lucky - his name is Jolt - got me thinking I needed to get Martini in training," she said, referring to her own pet pooch. "I was saying to Jolt’s handler, 'I would love for Martini to know ‘sit’ and ‘come’ and whatever.' And he was like, ''Leave her with me for two weeks and I’ll have her doing what Jolt’s doing.' And I was like, 'First of all, I’m not leaving her with anyone for two weeks. Thank you very much.'

Steinfeld also posed for a new photoshoot that you can check out by following the link below.

Hawkeye arrives on Disney+ with its first two episodes on November 24.

I looked at the Cosmo article (full transparency: I literally just LOOKED at it with no intention of reading it (at least not now, maybe later - don't judge, I'm busy right now. Seriously. Why are you rolling your eyes at me like that?) and WOWSA!. I was having a hard time getting over my mental image of her in the last movie I saw her in ("Bumblebee"), which was not exactly flattering for her appearance but I thought she did a fine performance (especially compared to the previous 2 "Transformers Girls" who were literally the opposite). I'm officially adding her to my imaginary harem of Marvel girls (including Florence, ScarJo, and Sophia) who I will have no choice to turn to for solace after I win the Powerball but despite having hundreds of millions of dollars, my wife (now obsessed with wealth and greed) leaves me for Jeff Bezos and his *ahem* rocket ship. At least that's how it all plays out in my head. I'll see myself out now :).
