Murphy's Multiverse has done some digging and discovered that musician Taz Taylor is helping to score Loki alongside composer Natalie Holt (who was confirmed to be working on the Disney+ series some time ago). That's not exactly a huge news story on its own, but it's what Taylor has been revealing on social media in recent weeks which really stands out.
One piece appears to be called "Lady Loki," as Taylor captioned the video, "Tommy sent me this Waldron approves. 'Lady Loki.'" That's not the only mention of the character on his Instagram, either, as the musician has been using hashtags with her name in quite a few of his posts.
"How about the sound of a heart being torn in half," he said last month. "Black blood will be oozing out of it. It’s a black heart covered in ice. Broken by Loki’s scepter, but it’s in the hands of of Lady Loki. 🖤🥶 #MarvelMusic #Lok i#LadyLoki #MarvelUniverse #MarvelComics #LokiSeries"
There are other noteworthy reveals too, including snippets from tracks which appear to be called "Tears of a Trickster," "The Bidding of Loki," and "My Shadow of Redemption."
You can see some of those posts below.
This is definitely interesting, and something tells us many of these will be pulled down once Marvel Studios catches wind of them. Of course, Lady Loki appearing in some form in the Disney+ series has been common knowledge for a while now, with Sophia Di Martino expected to play the trickster (or at least a version of the God of Mischief, most likely from another part of the Multiverse).
We'll keep you updated as we learn more about Loki ahead of its premiere this June!
