Last night's episode of Loki was an emotional, far less action-packed penultimate episode than what we got in the show's first season. However, it was clearly setting the stage for an epic finale that we're expecting will set up a game-changing new status quo for the God of Mischief.
We'll get to that a little later today, but in the meantime, details about the season 2 finale's runtime have been revealed.
It will run 51:10 without credits, clocking in at 56:05 once those finish rolling (don't be surprised if there's a post-credits somewhere in that five minutes). This also makes it among the second season's longest episodes as the previous instalments played out as follows:
• "Ouroboros" - 48 minutes
• "Breaking Brad" - 52 minutes
• "1893" - 56 minutes
• "Heart of the TVA" - 51 minutes
• "Science/Fiction" - 47 minutes
Loki season 2 has received widespread acclaim from fans and critics alike. For many, it's considered a return to form for Marvel Studios, particularly in regards to visual effects. Those have been flawless thus far, a big difference from what we saw in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and Moon Knight.
