MS. MARVEL Leaked Episode Titles May Reveal An Unexpected MCU Debut (If They're Real)

A possible leak for Ms. Marvel might reveal the episode titles for the six-part series, and it appears we could be getting a surprise debut from a member of a certain Marvel Universe Royal Family...

We're definitely taking this with a pinch of salt, but a listing on "TV Time" may have revealed both the premiere date and episode titles for Marvel Studios' Ms. Marvel TV series. CBR spotted them and verified that they can be found on the app, but that doesn't necessarily mean they're accurate.

Anyway, the show will supposedly debut on the streaming service on May 13 with "Kamala Khan: Embiggen." That will then be followed by five weekly episodes titled, "Lockin' Jaws," "The Woman I Look Up To," "New Kid on the Block," "My Faith," and "Only Here to Save the World." They're all pretty believable (it's not like any are titled "Black Bolt Arrives!") but are they legit?

There's no way to know for sure, unfortunately, but that date is definitely incorrect unless Disney+ plans to stream episodes of Ms. Marvel and Obi-Wan Kenobi at the same time (the Star Wars show's premiere date was recently confirmed by the streamer). Regardless, "Lockin' Jaws" is an interesting episode title.

Lockjaw is a member of the Inhumans in the comic books and serves as the teleporting pet of the Royal Family. The giant pooch made his live-action debut in ABC's Inhumans TV series, but a limited budget meant he only played a small role in proceedings and the visual effects...weren't the best.

After Kamala Khan was exposed to the Terrigen Mists, Lockjaw was sent to keep an eye on her. It doesn't look like the MCU's Ms. Marvel will be an Inhuman (with her powers instead coming from Kree technology similar to the Mar-Vell version of Captain Marvel), so this might be a fun nod to the teleporter and little more. It would be great to see the Inhumans reinvented in the show, though.

Ms. Marvel is expected to premiere on Disney+ sometime in 2022.

At some point Disney might have to stream more than one show at a time. I mean, they have a lot of Marvel and Star Wars shows. However, I don't think they need to do it yet. Aren't Ms. Marvel and She-Hulk they only Marvel shows we are getting this year after Moon Knight?

@ChrisRed - Nah, fans will lose interest. I mean, I already have zero interest in this one, but pure boredom may get me to watch an episode to see if it surprises me. If it was playing concurrently with another property and I had to choose, then it would be a no go.

Didn't realise it was coming so soon, hopefully we get a trailer soon then.

I am way excited for She-Hulk. As for Ms.Marvel it's not a character i've ever read or had much interest in. Same reason i still haven't seen Eternals.

If you had told me 10 years ago i would be ambivalent to a marvel project i would have said you were a liar haha. I guess we really are spoiled these days. We can pick and choose if we want.

@TheManWithoutFear - I didn't really like Eternals all that much, but I would recommend to at least watch it now that its on Disney+. I will watch it again soon myself to see if I like it better a second time. Sometimes my expectations color my opinion a bit too much the first time.

@Shivermetimbers - yeah fair point that happens to me as well.

I mean to watch it on D+ but everytime I get the chance I just kind of can't be bothered haha.

Really on the fence for this one. I like the character but I don't think I can get behind the other changes. Hopefully it's strong in every other aspect so I can look beyond my own issues with it

We know the premiere date is bs (two months after The Knight is too soon, and also no way it would cross paths with Kenobi), but we still think the episode titles are not?

Wasn't there an older report saying that it will premiere sometimes in late summer/fall?

So it would be closer to The Marvels? (I think so).

I'm not that hyped for this show.

I don't think it will be very serious, because a 15-year old girl can't get her ... kicked so all the fights will be without tension.

I mean yeah Spider-Man had pretty good action, but I don't expect the same from Kamala.

I own some of her comic books, and they are a bit too family-friendly.

On the other hand She-Hulk could have a nice combo of fun and action.

Putting this after Moon Knight is like putting Guardians of the Galaxy after CA: Winter Soldier.

Two totally different genres, I hope it won't destroy Ms. Marvel.

It's like people hating Boba Fett, because everyone was expecting Mandalorian-level quality.

@UXASIS - I'm not sure I follow. Putting GOTG after CATW didn't hurt it at all. People loved GOTG.

@UXASIS - I thought everyone hated it because he was barely in his own show and they spent the rest of the season prepping Mando 3

@CorndogBurglar - It had that effect on me and a few other people I know.

I just didn't buy the jokes, they felt really cringe to me.

@Crtdacct2say - That may be true.

I haven't seen the show, so not that I can critise it.

My bad.

@Crtdacct2say - I thought it was okay not great because overall I guess I didn't care by the end. The best eps turned out to be the ones not focused on boba and the best boba character sequence was the speeder bike train sequence. The past stuff was definitely more engaging than the present save for the last 2 eps. They had a brilliant concept and setup of crime lord boba fett and didn't do much with it sadly.

@CaptainFlapjaks - I don't disagree at all.

Can we start a movement to get Disney to release their shows all at once like Netflix? The weekly format drives me nuts. Anyone else? Waiting a week to see Kingpin only for him to be… well, not as consequential as I’d hoped, working out of a tiki hut… it was so deflating. I think they do themselves a disservice. If it’s all one big meal it’s way more satisfying, instead of the drip feed where the next bite isnt always as delicious as you’d hoped.

@connorblaze - Then you have a show such as Wandavision and Loki. They wouldn't be as fun without the weekly format.

@connorblaze - No. Hell No. The binge format is an inferior business model. EOS.

May 13? So that would put it one week after Moon Knight. That's far sooner than I expected.

"limited budget meant he only played a small role in proceedings and the visual effects...weren't the best"

Hm wasn't the budget for this show massive(there was however speculation the only money who went into the show was the cost for Imax)
Also wasn't the effects for the dog well done?
