Thanks to Digital Spy, below is what Alona Tal says via her Twitter account despite not revealing what role she is going to fill:
"I want you all to be the first to know I am a part of a new pilot for FX called Powers".
Alona Tal is best known for portraying the hunter Jo Harvelle in
Supernatural, and has also starred in
Veronica Mars among other television appearances.
Update: While there is not yet any official confirmation, Brian Michael Bendis himself tweeted the following:
Alona Tal joins 'Powers' pilot. i'll confirm it's...ZORA. BOOM!
For a bit more information, Zora is a character who appears to have immortality and possesses a great capacity for memory.
