Three episodes of WandaVision have now streamed on Disney+, and you'll find a million fan theories about each of them. Clearly, something is not right in Westview, and Agnes could be at the heart of the mystery.
"Now in Color" appears to confirm that she has some inclination about what's happening, but is that enough to reach the conclusion that Agnes is, in fact, Agatha Harkness? Not quite, but some resurfaced set photos from over a year ago have added some weight to that particular theory.
While Agnes dresses as a witch in the Halloween episode of WandaVision, these photos show her with other witches in a setting which could quite easily be hundreds of years in the past. In the comics, Agatha Harkness was one of the original witches from the witch trials in Salem, Massachusetts, and these photos might be an indication that the same will be the case in the MCU.
Bringing literal witches into this shared world is a strange decision, but one it's not hard to buy into when we know Blade will soon be fighting vampires in the MCU.
Your guess is as good as ours when it comes to what actual witches want with Wanda Maximoff, but her Scarlet Witch moniker might offer some hints. These set photos leave us with more questions than answers in some ways, though we're sure you'll agree they make for intriguing viewing. If we were to hazard a guess, however, Agatha likely has ties to the demonic Mephisto.
