This week's episode of WandaVision finally revealed how the Hex started and the means of Vision's return (we'll have more on that for you in our recap), but one key flashback too us inside S.W.O.R.D. As many fans theorised, Director Hayward did indeed manipulate that footage to make it look like Wanda attacked the base and stole the sentient android's remains.
In reality, upon being shown Vision's body in pieces, Wanda realised there was nothing left of the man she loved - she even used her powers to try to find a trace of him - and left.
Well, in a post-credits scene, we learn that Hayward wasn't disassembling Vision as he requested; instead, he's spent years trying to put him back together, and it seems he's succeeded. In this stinger, we learn that all it took to bring the android back online was some of Wanda's magic, and that's exactly what happens as this all-white version of the hero finally wakes up.
Fans of the comics will know that, in West Coast Avengers, Vision was taken apart, put back together, and then "resurrected" as an unfeeling, emotionless robot. It seems the Marvel Cinematic Universe is heading down the same route, and with Vision's body on the outside and "soul" on the inside, could the series end with the hero once again back by Wanda's side?
Seeing as neither Vision is truly, well, Vision, it does feel like that might be wishful thinking, but we'll have to wait and see. For now, you can check out the post-credits scene in the Tweet below:
