There were a lot of talking points in the first trailer for What If?, but that blink-and-you'd miss it shot of Spider-Man is definitely noteworthy. This marks the wall-crawler's Disney+ debut (the version from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, anyway), and while it looks like it's still Peter Parker beneath the mask - debunking reports that it will be Steve Rogers - the most interesting reveal was on the poster.
A super hi-res version of the image can be viewed here, but we thought you guys might appreciate a closer look at what appears to be a "Sorcerer Supreme" version of Spider-Man.
The Spider-Man: Homecoming suit is a little battered, as is the Cloak of Levitation, but what on Earth could happen that leads to Spidey being paired up with that seemingly sentient cloak? That's a question this series will almost certainly answer, and as Disney holds the animated rights to the web-slinger, he could become a key part of this corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Other interesting reveals on the poster (that you might have missed on the regular one) include The Vision decked out in Ultron-style armour powered by the other Infinity Stones and a zombie version of Hawkeye in an episode that looks set to be a full-blown Marvel Zombies adaptation.
