It's been a couple of weeks since we paid a visit to the world of "Marvel Zombies" in What If...?, and we've since heard a rumor that Marvel Studios could have live-action plans for the undead "heroes."
Whether that will be a continuation of the story that began in the animated series remains to be seen, but a new piece of fan art imagines what Paul Rudd would look like as the show's version of Scott Lang. Poor Scott had been zombified by Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne, but The Vision managed to restore the former Ant-Man to his senses...minus his body, unfortunately.
This led to Scott becoming a talking head in a jar, though as the story progressed, he got a little help moving around courtesy of Doctor Strange's Cloak of Levitation.
This piece of artwork does a phenomenal job of capturing what this take on Lang might look like on screen, and you have to believe a role like this would be a lot of fun for Rudd to sink his teeth into in live action. Whether that will actually happen is another matter, though if we are returning to the world of "Marvel Zombies," you have to believe it will be in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
There have, however, been hints that What If...? will actually go back to this world in later episodes (the recent mid-season trailer showed Thor and Doctor Strange observing them).
