Yesterday's episode of What If...? has drawn mixed reviews from fans, with some a tad underwhelmed with this animated take on "Marvel Zombies," and others thrilled to see the Avengers fight the undead. There was definitely a little too much comedy in this one (we certainly didn't feel too sorry for Kurt when he met his maker), but the zombie action was top-notch.
Now, Marvel Studios has released a gallery of stills from "What If...Zombies?!" featuring a number of key moments. Spider-Man receives his fair share of the spotlight, as do the ragtag team of Earth's Mightiest Heroes who assemble to try and cure both their fellow heroes and the rest of the world.
There's also a great shot of the undead Scarlet Witch. It's beginning to feel like Wanda Maximoff is a problem in any universe, though it's The Vision who ends up taking things down a dark path here.
If nothing else, this episode of What If...? showed the damage the love these two share can do to the wider MCU, and we can't help but wonder what will happen when the two we know are reunited. For now, we know Wanda will return in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, while White Vision's status is unclear (he seems to have his memories, but no emotions to go with them).
