Hereos return miniseries NBC

The return of Heroes created quite the stir during Super Bowl advertising but there's been little news on the return of the NBC superhero drama which first aired on the peacock network back in 2006.  It's expected that Heroes: Reborn, which will follow an all new cast of super-powered individuals, will begin its 13-episode minisereis adventure in 2015.  But before that kicks off, the series will first return as a prequel webseries available on NBC.com, Hulu, and video-on-demand.

Let's not forget that the 1st season was superb.
I really hope they can bring that level of quality back.

If it's a prequel then, it should link to the original characters of the series a lot more then, meaning we can see our old favourites crop up, awesome.

The main new series of Heroes Reborn was meant to focus on the newer generation of heroes with abilities, but since we're getting a prequel first, we'll probably see what characters like Hiro or Peter are up to.

I actually was unaware that the show is going to feature and entirely new cast! I think it's a good idea though after being off Television for so long. I can't wait, I hope Producers have figured out what went wrong with the last show and have fine tuned it enough to possibly bring it back for even more seasons in the near future!

man I loved heroes so much ( season 1 is my fav, and from what i heard about what season 2 was originally planned to be it could have been better than season 1 but then the writer strike happened and it phucked up the flow of the show.

Season 1 was great, but everything after that went down hill very quickly.

I'm not real sure why this is being done.

Season 1 was the best season of any show I've seen. Season 2 wasn't even bad. The problem began with that stupid writers strike. Season 2 ended up being rushed and cut short. By the time season 3 came out I think they replaced all the writers and for some reason they sort of ignored the direction it was going in season 2 and completely didn't finish story lines. That's when it went to shit. But I am hoping this will bring it back to it's glory. If it's anything like the first season it'll be great.

Season 1 - 10/10
Season 2 - 5/10
Season 3 volume 1 - 6/10
Season 3 volume 2 - 8/10
Season 4 - 6.5/10

It was gradually getting better from season 3 onwards imo. They threw in a dozen of random storylines that didn't connect to the previous two seasons, but once they brought up the idea of Nathan herding all the heroes and connected that to his philosophy in season 1, that's when it got better. And mainly when Sylar became a badass again. He was handled badly back in season 3 volume 1, and that volume had the douche arthur petrelli.

I was a fan of the first 2 seasons. I didn't really get to keep up with it, mainly because I was moving around a lot back then. After watching various episodes from seasons 3 & 4, I did have the impression of, "What the hell are these guys doing?! Do they even know?" And the whole flash-forwarding to the future was just too reminiscent of every single time they did that on Lost.
I was not a fan of Lost.
That being said, I'm excited to find out what's going to happen with this new series. Hopefully it will receive the care an attention that the original deserved.

Reallu "all-new cast"? Why to call this "Heroes" not connect with plot and characters from original show?

Stupid writer's strike...

Heroes could have been great.

I hope we get the same tone of season 1 combined with the action of the second half of season 3.

Couldn't agree more, Heroes never recovered from the writers strike but could have been great if it kept momentum

Whoever is saying Heroes is boring, obviously didn't watch season 1.

S1 of Heroes was a billion times better and more exciting than S1 of Arrow, which everyone blows on here.

Heroes Season 1 is one of the best series of TV ever.

Of course, the people trashing are probably huge Deadpool/Wolverine fans.

Some people just have bad taste.

So 1 out of 4 seasons was so called good? 25% Hardly enough to make it a great show! Heroes works better than ambien for a good night sleep.
