In last Wednesday's episode of The Book of Boba Fett, director Robert Rodriguez reunited with an actor who's become synonymous with his career: Danny Trejo. The actor took on a role that shouldn't surprise fans, playing the strong, silent type with an apparent soft side as a Rancor keeper who is now set to train Lord Fett's newest acquisition (so he can ride him into battle).
We wouldn't be surprised if the unnamed character gets his own poster later today, but for now, Trejo has taken to Twitter to share a behind-the-scenes look at his Star Wars debut.
As for that Rancor, we're definitely excited to see what sort of impact it makes in the Disney+ series. Another of the beasts appeared in Return of the Jedi, but was ultimately felled by Luke Skywalker. In that movie, George Lucas considered putting an actor in a suit before realising it wouldn't work; a puppet was then used, and it seems The Book of Boba Fett is also keeping things practical.
However, when Fett does ride his new Rancor, we're guessing some visual effects will be utilized!
With only four episodes left, it's going to be interesting to see where The Book of Boba Fett takes us, particularly after this latest instalment moved the story along - both in the past and present - quite a bit quicker than we expected. It's also unclear who is taking aim at the former bounty hunter.
