MORBIUS Star Adria Arjona Reportedly Has A Big Future In STAR WARS Franchise Beyond ANDOR

We're guessing Adria Arjona is done with Sony's Marvel Universe after Morbius, but a new report claims Lucasfilm has big plans for her Andor character, Box Caleen, beyond the Rogue One prequel series...

Despite a rather slow start, Andor has definitely started to find its feet in recent weeks. Now, that early praise seems fully justified, and it's become all too easy to get engrossed in the stories of these characters.

The focus isn't only on Cassian Andor, though, and Adria Arjona's Bix Caleen is among those we've been following over the course of this first season. While things look don't look good for her at the moment, a new report from Galactic Transmission (via SFFGazette.com) suggests the character has a big future in the Star Wars franchise.

Apparently, Arjona has signed a deal that will see her appear in other upcoming projects. We'd assume Andor season 2 is among them, but it sounds like Bix will play a role in other TV shows set during this time period. Most interesting, however, is the claim that the actress is also committed to potentially starring in her own series down the line.

We're not sure the Rebel's story justifies her own spin-off, but it is intriguing to think about what comes next for her in this Galaxy Far, Far Away.

Arjona rose to fame for her roles in Emily, Narcos, and True Detective, and also appeared in Morbius earlier this year. That's probably a project she's hoping to forget, though she's certainly bounced back by landing a starring role in Andor

Over the course of this Disney+ series, we've learned that Bix has a history with Cassian and is tied to the group of Rebels led by Luthen Rael. This has resulted in her falling into the clutches of evil ISB operative Dedra Meera, and we're currently unsure how she will escape the Empire's clutches.

As always, it's best to take reports like these with a pinch of salt. As far as we're aware, Lucasfilm doesn't have many other upcoming projects set during this period in Star Wars history beyond Andor season 2, though the studio has yet to shed any light on its 2024 plans.

I assumed Kennedy had a crush on Diego Luna and that's why she greenlit this spin-off. But it seems there's something else going on.

Andor has the biggest budget, biggest scope and larges order of episodes of all SW projects. I'm really dumbfounded (aside from its quality, of course).

Look, I like Andor and all. Bix is alright too.

But at this point I'm fairly certain they're just greenlighting spin-offs and making "big plans" for certain characters purely because of their unique/marketable names. Lol.
