THE MANDALORIAN Star Makes A Surprise Appearance In AHSOKA's Action-Packed Fourth Episode - SPOILERS

The latest episode of Ahsoka features a surprise appearance from a fan-favourite The Mandalorian character, but even they're not enough to stop Morgan Elsbeth from enacting her sinister plan. Check it out!

Rosario Dawson debuted as the live-action Ahsoka Tano in The Mandalorian season 2 and it was there we learned of her quest to find Grand Admiral Thrawn (and Ezra Bridger).

Since then, the former Jedi has shared the screen with Luke Skywalker in The Book of Boba Fett and is now taking centre stage in a solo series which, four episodes in, looks likely to be the most important tale told during this post-Return of the Jedi era.

Showrunner Dave Filoni is a master world-builder and cleverly connects Ahsoka to The Mandalorian with a surprise cameo in "Fallen Jedi."

After Chancellor Mon Mothma and her fellow officials turned down Hera Syndulla's request to send a strike force to Seatos to help Ahsoka and Sabine Wren, the Rebel takes matters into her own hands and goes AWOL alongside Chopper and her son Jacen.

However, joining them is Paul Sun-Hyung Lee's Captain Carson Teva and his squad of X-Wings!

Yes, The Mandalorian fan-favourite is back after previously befriending Din Djarin and turning to the bounty hunter for help when the New Republic failed him during the show's third season. We know he too is friends with Zeb, so it surely can't be too much longer before that Ghost crew member shows up.

Death And A Jaw-Dropping Surprise Return - SPOILERS

In the episode's closing moments, Morgan Elsbeth activates the Eye of Sion and blasts off to find Thrawn by quite literally flying through our heroes. Thankfully, the Ghost remains intact, though many of Teva's fellow pilots are killed, something we're sure the New Republic will not be happy about seeing as this mission wasn't authorised!

There will soon be bigger issues to deal with, though, and it seems likely the New Republic will ultimately regret its decision not to do everything within its power to stop Eslbeth's machinations. Thrawn's return is now imminent and war is coming.

Will the Grand Admiral be revealed as the Imperial who founded The First Order? Did he help create Supreme Leader Snoke based on Moff Gideon's cloning experiments? And is he still loyal to the Empire after spending years in another Galaxy? Those are just a couple of the questions fans are hoping will be answered in this series, but they're also mysteries that may not be solved until Filoni's eventual Star Wars movie.

For now, it was definitely fun seeing the return of a familiar face, especially when he's become a recurring presence elsewhere in this Galaxy.

As you might expect, fans were very happy with this surprise cameo!

Help us Dave, you're our only hope.

Last night's episode made me remember why I love Star Wars.

Is the pacing slow? Yup
Is the dialogue stale? Yup

???

That's really the only complaint I have at this point. Watching them switch forms in anticipation of their opponent's attack was so freaking dope.

Dave gives a damn. That's all I ask.

And that ending... I am so ready for episode 5

Let's [frick]in GO!!!

@DarthOmega - ‘That’s really the only complaint I have at this point’

Any other franchise/show/movie, those points you made would be a death knell

@CerealKiller1 - I guess I've been so a.noyed with Disney Star Wars something as simple as a slow pace or stilted dialogue is so much better than stunt casting horrible "Actors" like Lizzo

@CerealKiller1 - Slow pace isn’t a bad thing. It’s obviously intentional.

It may not be everyone’s preference; but it’s not bad.

@MG0019 - I would say more it isn’t ‘always’ bad. It definitely ‘can’ be bad

Also the ending left me wondering if Anaikins spirit is really there or is he a figment of her imagination or something since he’s in the outfit she last saw him in and not in the outfit from the end of ROTJ

"Arthurian legend" marrok being a nobody 😂

But i guess there is still some revelations waiting there. Shin was too worried when he got cut.

Great episode. In Filoni we trust.

I also agree from a poster that Ahsoka here is too stiff and Sabine being shown as a newbie. It wasnt that long ago since the last episode of Rebels for this much change to happen
