It seems production is now (or will soon be) underway on the Cassian Andor Disney+ series, as star Diego Luna has confirmed that he is in London to begin working on the Rogue One spinoff during a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
We don't know if camera are actually rolling just yet, but some kind of official announcement may be imminent.

The actor also commented on the show's timeline, making it clear that the prequel will basically encompass "everything you have to know to understand Rogue One." Of course, we already know how Andor's story plays out (spoiler: not well), which Luna acknowledges after Kimmel jokingly points out that he's already spoiled the ending.
The still untitled series will follow the adventures of Rebel spy Cassian Andor and his droid pal K-2SO during the formative years of the Rebellion and prior to the events of Rogue One. The rousing spy thriller will "explore tales filled with espionage and daring missions to restore hope to a galaxy in the grip of a ruthless Empire."
Toby Haynes (Black Mirror) will helm Cassian Andor, stepping in to replace original director Tony Gilroy, who was reportedly forced to drop out due to COVID-19 related travel restrictions.
The Americans producer Stephen Schiff will serve as showrunner on the series, which will also feature Adria Arjona, Denise Gough, Genevieve O’Reilly, Stellan Skarsgard, and Kyle Soller in undisclosed roles.
