We haven't heard much about SYFY's live-action adaptation of Deadly Class since they released a new trailer during SDCC, but now we've learned that the series has gained a new cast member.

The latest addition to the show based on the Image Comics series by Rick Remender and Wes Craig is actor Tom Stevens (Wayward Pines), who will reportedly
have a recurring role in the first season as Chester "F*ckface" Wilson, one of Marcus' (Benjamin Wadsworth) many enemies.

In the comics, F-face and Marcus first met when they lived at a boys home, and after an incident left him badly scarred, Chester Wilson vowed revenge against Marcus. As a result, he had a significant role in the earlier issues of the comic.

Deadly Class is produced by Joe and Anthony Russo (Avengers: Infinity War) and is expected to premiere next year. Other cast members include Benedict Wong, Lana Condor and María Gabriela de Faría.

Never read the comic, but the trailer did intrigue me quite a bit. Also, with the Russos attached...that will definitely make me at least check it out.

I haven't watched ANYTHING on SyFy recently, but laways remember the quality being a little bit like CW. Has that changed? I know The Expanse got a lot of love, but is going to Netflix.

@Menks123 - If you enjoy camp then SyFy is pretty choice, especially during Shark Week.

@Menks123 - The Magicians is incredible. Expanse is quite good if you're interested in hard-ish sci-fi.
