Amazing Fan-Art Imagines What Tom Hardy's VENOM Might Look Like On The Big Screen

Possible CGI designs for Tom Hardy's Venom recently appeared online and one fan artist has taken those and added some effects to give us a better idea of what this iteration of Eddie Brock might look like.

While the vast majority of comic book fans would be happier seeing Venom do battle with Tom Holland's Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Sony Pictures is forging ahead with a spinoff featuring the alien symbiote which will stand apart from what's happening with the wall-crawler in that shared world. As a result, feelings about this movie are mixed (especially with Avi Arad producing).

Even so, there's an awful lot of excitement surrounding the character of Venom and how Tom Hardy's version may look both in comparison to the source material and what we saw in Spider-Man 3.

Recently, some CGI designs for the movie surfaced (though it was never confirmed whether or not they're the real deal) and now one fan artist has taken those, added some colours and effects, and given us a much better idea of how Venom could look in this solo adventure. It's pretty cool and frightening enough that you can easily imagine the movie going down the R-Rated horror route.

What do you guys think of this take on Venom? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.

@dracula - Perfect! My daughter used to watch the Disney Channel all the time and I was often in the room doing paperwork. Those shows were all so bad except for this gem.

Don't think they have it right, particularly the eyes, but it's a very well done piece of art.

The whole concept of this Venom movie seems dumb... if they were to do Agent Venom that would be good.. but it just feels like a money grab... no thx..

i don't think he has the symbol on his chest

@Fanmar16 - There's no way he does. Since the movie is apart from the MCU, having the symbol, I think, would be way too confusing for the general audience.

It might be an easy way to leave the possibility of linking Venom to the MCU later. Someone could ask him what the deal with the symbol on his chest was and he could respond with something like, "it's a long story" or "it's just a reminder from another life" or something to that affect.

Tbh I hate this design. Not the art, I’m talking about the piece of art that we found out about 2 weeks ago. I know it’s supposed to be grotesque and horrifying but it feels far too chubby for Venok and I hate the eyes.
