Wow.... That was the word when I picked up the controller and played the sequel to one of the greatest superhero games ever. This game is a HUGE disappointment compared to the first, when they first marketed the game I was so excited because I had longed for a sequel to Marvel Ultimate Alliance.

Story: The game takes place during the story arc of the Marvel Civil War, and you chose to be part of the Pro-Registration or the Anit-Registration. 7/10

Gameplay: The controls are similar to the first, one of the few they did right. 7/10

Graphics: Gameplay wise their better, as far as cutscenes go, not even close. 8/10

Sound: About as dead on as the first. 8/10

Overall: This game is still a decent game but the roster lacks what the first had, it lacks alot what the first one had. The most important thing it missed was the magic of the first. I really don't see much replay value in it, even if you're a die hard Marvel fan like myself.

7/10

Great review.Literally the best way to put it is the first game was just so.....MARVEL! Thats wht the magic was. It was like they took the best elements of 70 years if source material and let you take the helm.

I enjoyed the first so much, best Marvel game I have ever played along with the Capcom fighting games. I literally couldn't put it down and completed it a second time once I discovered all the cheats for it. I recently bought the second one now I have a PS3, I played it for about 4 hours and haven't gone back to it since. It just felt really forced and I was not impressed with the character designs at all. As Marvelfreek94 said, the first is just so Marvel in all it's magical glory and this is everything about Marvel I don't enjoy which isn't much. So it's pretty impressive how they can spread out the little dullness Marvel has into one long game. I think 7/10 is a little too kind.

@MARV3L: I respectfully agree for the most part, I don't think MUA2 was terrible. It's a decent game but at the same time lost alot of what made the first game so great.

I really liked the second one, I think it depends on what system you played both on, some versions had diff characters, you lost some characters from the first , but they added some sweet replacements like juggernaut, hulk, dead pool, nick fury, venom and green goblin. I had a good time
