"Do you believe in UFOs, astral projections, mental telepathy, ESP , clairvoyance, spirit photography, telekinetic movement, full trance mediums, the Loch Ness monster and the theory of Atlantis?"

If you answered yes to any of the above, you maybe interested in Sony and Ghost Corps new augmented reality game Ghostbusters World. Sadly, there's no paycheck involved for this one. You'll be capturing these ghosts around the real world for fun using your iOS or Android device; no unlicensed nuclear accelerator required.

Revealed this weekend, Ghostbusters World is designed in the same vein as the mega popular Pokemon GO. You explore the real world and, using your mobile device, battle and capture ghosts from all dimensions of the Ghostbusters franchise, including films, TV shows, comic books, theme parks, video games, and even a few new and unique ones to this game.

Ghostbusters World is said to feature "the latest in AR and other mobile technologies and differentiates itself with skill-based gameplay and numerous other exciting features yet to be announced."

A brief video included in today's press released showcased gameplay similar to that of Pokemon GO, with a player battling and capturing Slimer in the middle of town. A teaser trailer was also released and although it doesn't contain gameplay, it sets the tone.

Just remember: don't cross the streams and if one of the ghosts you encounter asks you if you're a God, you say "yes!"

Ghostbusters World is set to release for Android and iOS later this year when the Keymaster arrives.

I guess this is their replacement for the previous Ghostbusters game that did this. I’m looking forward to this.
