Its been floating around there for awhile, and it seems like a 60-40 chance that it will happen, but Peter Jackson wants to do a Halo movie. If they get the right screenwriters, the right actors and make it at least three hours or 2:50, then we would have a damn good movie on our hands. If they go through with one and it becomes completely official, where will yo stand? Will you be excited to hear that they are finally doing one, or will you be convinced after seeing a poster or a teaser to it?

Halo sucks, I'm not a ps3 or a Cod fanboy, but Halo just sucks.

Well I played a demo of the game about 6 years ago (maybe?) and bored the hell out of me so never went back.

I don't know if the franchise is THAT popular anymore.

Having said that if the story is good and the film well made no reason why it can't be successful.

its one of the biggest, most played games on x-box, lol. Halo Reach came out about a year ago, and it still has millions of people playing it online. So yeah, its still THAT popular.

and yes, a HALO movie would be huge. unfortunately, they would never get it right, and it would probably suck.

in the first question i was gonna put NaH because i wasn't that interested in a halo movie but then i saw that COD shit ,and i swear COD is the most overrated and worst franchise of all time

@ CorndogBurglar - I'm not so sure about that last part about a Halo film sucking. the Live action trailers for the games garnered a lot of critical praise. if something like a 1-10 minute trailer can be translated to big screen at all, it should be a decent blockbuster.

Never was a Halo fan, bought 2 and 3 with my 360, played through them once and traded them in. Like COD I found them too bland.

Halo kicks ass, if you don't like it its most likely that you suck and just got skull f*cked one too many times.
