How is this comic book movie news you ask? Well Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and Uncharted 2: Among Thieves are both PS3 games. However, the game franchise is being made into a movie and with these motion comics that now makes the movie a CBM!

Tomorrow, Sony and Naughty Dog are kicking off a four-part motion comic on the PlayStation Network set a few months before the opening of Uncharted: Drake's Fortune.

These comics were penciled by Marco Castiello of Witchblade fame and then broken up and animated by Sony. There's movement, voice work, particle effects, and more!

The story follows Drake as he teams up with Daniel Pinkerton, an American who has become a big bad criminal in Indonesia. The duo are on the trail of the Eye of Indra, but Sony's promising that a whole bunch of familiar faces from both games are going to pop up in the four-part adventure.

According to Neil Druckmann, Naughty Dog co-lead game designer and writer of these Motion Comics, Drake's desperate and willing to do what he has to, "Here, he's willingly getting hired by a known criminal," Druckmann said. "It's still Drake. He's got his good side."

The episodes are five minutes each but at this time it is unknown how much they will cost though it has been confirmed that the first comic will be free.

The first one was an amazing game (especially back in 2007) but the most recent game has to be not only the most stunning game I've ever played but also one of the most fun. (Check out the train level on YouTube - you'll never have seen anything like it in a game EVER!)

I for one cannot wait for the movie or the motion comic! Im just glad that Uncharted is now (technically) a CBM so I can post news about the movie on this site, lol! Thanks for putting this up on the main page CBM! :)

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is an instant classic! The first one was innovative as well. I will be checking for the motion comic. Good looking out!
