NEW MUTANTS Star Says Reshoots Are Making The Movie The One "We All Signed Up To Do"

New Mutants was supposed to be released earlier this year but the Josh Boone helmed release has been delayed a number of times now and that's reportedly due to extensive reshoots which will change the tone of the movie and add some new characters. We've heard conflicting reports about what went wrong but things aren't looking good for this one and it could be another Fantastic Four.

During a recent interview, Glass star Anya Taylor-Joy said that returning to play Magik again has been "just great" and she's confident that the movie will ultimately deliver the goods. The actress was also asked about how reshoots have changed New Mutants' tone and while she was vague with her response, it sounds like something wasn't right about the movie before Fox ordered these changes.

"I think we’re making the movie that we set out to make, in the beginning," she explains. "That’s what we’re going to end up delivering to people. It feels like the movie we all signed up to do, which is good." Whether or not New Mutants will deliver on that promise remains to be seen, especially as there's a lot of speculation it won't even end up in theaters. What do you guys think of these remarks?
