DARK PHOENIX: Check Out Over 40 Hi-Res Screenshots From The Final Trailer For Fox's Last X-MEN Movie

Dark Phoenix is now in the hands of Disney, but that doesn't mean the final X-Men movie is going to be on the same level as a release from Marvel Studios! Honestly, that was evident from the new trailer released earlier today which revealed that a) the Phoenix Force is a Galactus-style cloud and b) that it gets its name from a group of schoolkids.

Despite that, there were a lot of cool moments in this latest sneak peek which fans of the long-running franchise are bound to appreciate (if nothing else, the team's suits look pretty cool).

You may have also missed the brief appearance of the Phoenix Force in a form that will be at least somewhat familiar to comic book readers...just don't expect it to factor into the movie itself all that much! No matter how you feel about Dark Phoenix, though, these hi-res screenshots are definitely worth checking out.

Cyclops in a backseat, while Mystique is co-piloting. In a nutshell.

They could have gone with another director, yes absolutely agree with that.

But the team behind the film is what really gets me excited.
Hans Zimmer doing the score
Mauro Fiore doing cinematography
Lee Smith doing film editing

Those key factors are what makes me excited about the film.
If I get great character interaction with solid story telling that's what I look forward to the most.

After this film I am absolutely excited to see the X-Men join the MCU.

@aleh021 - The thing is, the SCORE, CINEMATOGRAPHY AND EDITING have nothing or very little to do with character interactions or story telling. They just make a film look and sound nice. It still has to be well written, well acted and well directed. So far for me the indication is that it's not.
