As we begin a new week here on CBM, it's time for another edition of Small Print. It's been pretty quiet on the comic book movie news front, but there are a few non-CBM or related stories floating around that may be of interest, and we've rounded them up for you guys here.
Below, you'll find details on the lead actors for the female-fronted
Kung Fu reboot and Silence of the Lambs sequel series

CBS' upcoming
Silence of the Lambs sequel pilot

The Originals, Pretty Little Liars) in the lead role of Clarice Starling, who was previously played by both Jodie Foster and Julianne Moore on the big screen.

Lambs, Clarice follows the titular FBI Agent as she returns to the field to pursue serial murderers and sexual predators while navigating the high-stakes political world of Washington, D.C. The character of Hannibal Lecter is not expected to appear.
Peyton Reed Rumored For The Mandalorian Season 2
A new rumor doing the rounds online via
Murphy's Multiverse claims that
Ant-Man director Peyton Reed will helm two episodes of the upcoming second season of Disney+'s
The Mandalorian. The report also mentions that Taika Waititi will return to "contribute" to the live-action
Star Wars series. Whether that means he'll also direct or will be reprising the role of IG-11 is unclear.
This comes right after James Mangold debunked a separate rumor that he helmed "sequences" for the show, so take this will an extra helping of salt for the time being. We should find out more during Disney's special UK event this Thursday.
Matt Fraction's Hawkeye Costume May Pop Up in The Disney+ Series
Based on everything we've heard so far, the Disney+
Hawkeye show is going to be at least partially influenced by Matt Fraction's popular solo run for the character, and we're now hearing that Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner) might wear the "costume" he donned in that series.
If you've read the comic you'll know he spends most of his time in jeans and t-shirt, but he does sport a more conventional superhero outfit at certain points. Well, it was a different t-shirt with a logo and a pair of sunglasses, but close enough!
At any rate,
MCU Cosmic reckons it will feature in some capacity, although Renner may not even wear it and it might simply show up as an Easter Egg.
New Mutants TV Spots
A pair of new TV spots for
The New Mutants have been posted on Fox's YouTube page. They're basically just condensed versions of the most recent trailer and don't appear to feature any new footage, but there might be a snippet or two in there somewhere.
Kung Fu Reboot Casts Legacies Actress Olivia Liang

Kung Fu reboot has found its lead in
Legacies‘ Olivia Liang.
The show, which has Christina M. Kim, Martin Gero and Greg Berlanti on board as producers, will be a re-imagining of the classic David Carradine series from the '70s. The story focuses on a young Chinese-American woman named Nicky Chen (Liang), who drops out of college and go on a life-changing journey to an isolated monastery in China.

WWE Super ShowDown Match Results
WWE held its annual
Super ShowDown PPV event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia this past Thursday, and the majority of fans seemed to be very disappointed in the results.
These shows are never very good, to be honest, but Goldberg handing "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt his first loss to become the new Universal Champion just didn't sit well with a lot of people. We also had a pointless Brock Lesnar/Ricochet squash match, and The Undertaker putting in a brief appearance to win some gauntlet trophy thing.
Yes, it was all about getting the young up-and-comers over at
SSD.

Macaulay Culkin Joins The Cast of American Horror Story
Home Alone actor Macaulay Culkin is set to return to acting with a role in the upcoming tenth season of
American Horror Story. The former child star has made several guest appearances in the likes of
Dollface, Robot Chicken and
Kings, but this will be his first substantial role in many years.
No details on his character were provided, but showrunner Ryan Murphy
did reveal that regulars Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Billie Lourd, Finn Wittrock, Lily Rabe, Adina Porter, Leslie Grossman and Angelica Ross will all be back for what's believed to be the final season of the long-running FX series.
We Can't Even...
Finally, we thought we'd share a "rumor" that's been doing the rounds for a few days purely for a laugh. We're not even going to link to the source, but let's just say that a notorious peddler of bullshit is claiming that former(?) Superman actor Henry Cavill has been cast as Wolverine... in
Captain Marvel 2! Yes, Marvel has found their new Logan!
Perhaps the funniest thing about this is how many supposedly reputable sites ran with the story, but there you go. Henry Cavill as Wolverine. Oh, and Marvel is buying DC too apparently.
