Hugh Jackman Makes A Young WOLVERINE Fan's Day For The Make-A-Wish Foundation

Perennial nice guy Hugh Jackman's been at it again! The beloved Aussie actor recently shocked a young 'Wolverine' fan by showing up in person to his visit to an Australian radio show - all made possible by the brilliant Make-A-Wish Foundation. Check it out!

As if you needed any more proof that Hugh Jackman is one of the nicest guys on the planet, the famous Aussie star and long time 'Wolverine' actor made a young fan's day on Wednesday with a heartwarming gesture. Operating on behalf of the Make-A-Wish foundation, Jackman teamed up with radio channel KIIS 1065 to surprise nine-year-old Dominic, who suffers from cystic fibrosis.

After leading Dominic to believe he was on set, Jackman shocked the young boy by popping out from behind the scenes and demonstrating his favorite action pose. The two then discussed some of the clawed mutant's best lines. Hilariously, Jackman's favorite wasn't very age-appropriate...

Jackman will wear the claws 'one last time' in an untitled sequel to 2013's The Wolverine, which is due to hit theatres March 3, 2017.

@KryptonianZod

Completely Agree! I love it when stars do this kind of stuff for comic-book fans with illnesses. I remember when Chris Pratt and Chris Evans went to a children's hospital in costume, such great guys playing these great roles.

See I want actors who will do this kind of stuff in comic book roles.
That's one of the main reasons I didn't want Joaquin Pheonix as Dr. Strange, he won't commit himself to the role and do things like this. However Cumberbatch will defiantly visit children in costume and do things like this.

I cried a little when the kids fav thing about Wolverine was his ability to heal.

And Jackman. Maybe the kindest actor ever. It's impossible to hate him. His heart, his kindness to these sort of stuff is incredible.

Hugh Jackman is the humblest actor ever he is such a nice guy it will be very sad when we see his last Wolverine performance in 2017.

Great guy...would have made a good Wolverine (i don't care about the height) if they'd been true to the characters and stories. Ah well. Maybe some day

"This is all it takes to make comic book movies relevant,if a comic book movie can fulfil the wish of sick children, then comic book movies are NEEDED."

@KryptonianZod Nobody is more shocked than me when I say this - I completely, 100%, fully agree. Well said!

Awesome but not a surprise. Jackman is a great person and uses his fame for all the right things. We've got some great people playing comic book roles...Jackman, Evans, Pratt, the Green Arrow actor...

I have CF and that just made me cry. I totally love Huge now and anyone that helps shed light on this disease that not a lot of people know about. Just beautiful! This is what actors should be doing with their time off if they had half a heart even just a couple times a year and not do it because it's a tax write off!
Go Huge! And fight little bro like you've never faught before, just like wolverine!

I wonder if the kid is upset that Jackman is retiring in 2017. Either way he's not going to see the movie but...

Jackman is a great guy..Marvel needs to get him a new movie roll,he would be a great Kraven the Hunter.
He has the physique & Sergei should be an older, veteran hunter not a young novice.
With a buzzed hair or shaved head & a big moustache..he would look very different from Wolverine.
Would be fun to hear Hugh using a Russian accent too.
