Right on the heels of the 3D Wolverine screenshot, we got our hands on all new screenshots for the upcoming Wolverine video game, and it looks like we'll finally see the berserker in all his brutal glory!

Wolverine's getting his own movie this spring, and his new video game looks like it's going to live up to what Wolverine fans have been dying to see: Wolverine in all his brutal and bloody glory! We have the new X-Men Origins: Wolverine screenshots to prove it!

Oh, and for those that saw the previous 3D screenshots, and said "he missed the chopper"... Guess again! :o)

UPDATE! Shortly after getting the 16 new screenshots, I decided to create some wallpaper for the game. You can see them in my X-Men Origins: Wolverine wallpaper are of my other site. I could add them to SuperHeroGames, but our image uploader shrinks images to 800 width, which doesn't work well for wallpaper...

I was on the fence about this game, but this first batch of actual screenshots has me pretty excited for the game!

I love video games based on comics... I even liked the Iron Man game with all its flaws.

Yeah, this game looks sweet. I'm actually playing through SpiderMan: Web of Shadows right now and that game rules. I was actually surprised it only got so-so reviews.

Hmm is it just me, or are those bone claws in the Wolverine vs. Helicopter shots?
Besides the similarity of many of the shots... this doesn't look too terrible.

They do seem to look a little rough around the edges which would suggest that they are bone claws.

The game looks pretty, but then again, so did Iron Man and we all know how "awesome" that was.

Hopefully they'll actually make the gameplay good and the story good with something that can offer us some re-playability.
